I found your blog through Presents Knits, and thought I'd stick my big nose in.<br /><br />I don't have a ball winder or swift, but I have some wierdo tricks that make winding yarn into balls kind of pleasant. (It's more meditative than effifcient.) I use a lamp with a big lampshade instead of a swift (if you unscrew the bobble at the top it will spin gently) and use a fat marker to make center-pull balls. It isn't speedy, but if you can convince yourself tha it's work the extra time you get to spend with the yarn, it can be odly satisfying.<br /><br />Anyhow, blah blah blah.
